Is Options OS a trading bot?

No. It is an engineering repository for defining and building a crypto-options trading engine.

Does it include a profitable trading strategy?

No. The strategy and its PnL mechanism remain specific to the engine you define.

What is already implemented?

Options OS includes the trading engine intent; engine, operations and scenario specification templates; 21 reusable options and trading libraries with specifications and tests; trading and construction semantics; a core exchange adapter and a concrete Deribit adapter; Claude Code and Codex skills, workflows, hooks and tools; and architecture enforcement and verification procedures.

What do I do after cloning the repository?

First, complete and accept the trading engine intent using a capable web-based reasoning model.

Add the completed trading engine intent to the repository and run /translate-domain-intent, then follow the documented sequence through /architect-system, /write-buildable-specification, /create-implementation-plan and /execute-implementation-plan.

What remains mine to define and operate?

You remain responsible for the trading strategy, strategy-specific entry and exit decisions, the strategy-specific PnL mechanism, portfolio and operating policy, accounts and credentials, deployment and monitoring, operational validation, capital, and approval to trade live.

Is the complete repository private?

Yes. Buyers receive access through a private GitHub invitation after payment.

Is it ready to trade live immediately?

No. Every engine requires configuration, testing, shadow or paper validation, deployment, monitoring and explicit live approval.

What knowledge is required?

You must be able to define the strategy and evaluate its trading and operating decisions.

Python, Git and software-engineering knowledge are useful but not required - Claude Code or Codex performs the repository implementation work.

Operating and approving a live engine still requires appropriate technical and trading oversight.

What if I want LeanOS to implement the engine?

Choose implementation services when you want LeanOS to take the work from trading engine intent through specifications, architecture, assembly, implementation, verification and deployment design.

Can I get a refund?

No. Options OS is source code, not a returnable product. Repository access is granted on purchase, and refund requests are not accepted.
